Eileen was born on March 6, 1941, in Jersey City, NJ to the late, Frederick Miller and Kathleen Brooks. Eileen grew up in Hudson County, before settling in Sussex County in 1962. Prior to her retirement, she was an Executive Secretary for Lucent Technologies.
Eileen enjoyed many years of ballroom dancing with her husband. Their passion for dance was a beautiful expression of their love and commitment to one another. Beyond the dance floor, Eileen had a great love for games, often found enjoying a lively round of rummy with family and friends. Her sense of humor and competitive spirit made these moments even more special.
Travel was a cherished part of Eileen's life. She was especially fond of her frequent trips to Spain. She also loved exploring new places and enjoyed the simple pleasures of going out to eat, always relishing the chance to try new cuisines with those she loved.
A proud grandmother, Eileen had a special gift for making memories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She delighted in taking them to Broadway shows, Christian rock concerts, and bringing them to her church youth groups, sharing with them her love for music, the arts, faith and family.
