Elizabeth was born on July 21, 1960 in Brooklyn, NY to the late John and Ann (Connors) Gabay. Elizabeth grew up in Saddle Brook, NJ before settling in Newton 32 years ago. Prior to her retirement, she was a licensed practical nurse and worked for Atlantic Health Care. Elizabeth will be remembered for her incredible sense of humor and selfless care for everyone around her.
The beloved wife to the late Theodore Rivera, Jr., Elizabeth is survived by her children, Theodore Rivera III, Christopher Rivera and his wife Rose, and Catherine Rivera, as well as her grandchildren, Abigail and Ezra Rivera.
Services will be held privately and under the direction and care of the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, Newton, NJ.
