Fred was born in Lapeer, Michigan on April 12, 1969 to the late Marceline and Fred A Seames Jr. He grew up in Rudyard, Michigan, where he graduated from Rudyard High School in 1987.
Fred served his country in the United States Army, earning the esteemed honor of serving with the Presidential Honor Guard “Old Guard”, during which time he protected three U.S. Presidents, guarded the Pentagon, attained White House clearance, and earned an Expert Infantry Badge. Following his military service, Fred was employed by the State of NJ DOT for 14 years.
Fred was known by his many friends and family for wearing his tank top and shorts all year long. He was an intelligent, cheerful guy who was liked by many and will be greatly missed.
Fred is predeceased by his father Fred A Seames Jr, mother Marceline Seames, and brother Stephen Seames. He is survived by his wife Juliane (Gisler) Seames, son Austin Seames, daughter Amber Seames, sister Sharron Seames, and many nieces and nephews.
While services at the funeral home will be held privately, the family invites all friends and family to a Celebration of Fred’s Life on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Newton VFW Post 5360, 85 Mill St, Newton NJ 07860.
