Gregg was born and raised in Sussex County. He grew up at Culver Lake and graduated from High Point Regional High School where he was a proud member of the Wildcats wrestling and soccer teams. He was one of the founding members of the countywide adult soccer league.
Gregg worked in multiple positions for United Parcel Service at the Budd Lake facility for the past 16 years. He also tended bar at St. Moritz in Sparta and Hexagon Lounge in Vernon. He worked at a Vernon Valley/Great Gorge when it was founded, serving as a snowmaker, light construction and bartender. In his early years with his family, he operated the Culver Lake Dairy Queen and Lafayette Zingas Corn Patch.
He leaves behind his beloved parents, Theodore and Janice; his siblings, Kevin (Patricia) and Teddi (Anthony); his nieces and nephews, Megan (John), Gregory (Amanda), Justin, Brittany, Stefanie (Keith), and Melanie; his grandnieces and grandnephews, Andrew, Julie, Donald, Peyton, Breanna, Courtney, Keith, Jr., Alexis, Brooklyn and Brielle.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton, NJ.
