Born on July 18, 1945, in Camden, New Jersey, Judith was a homemaker and a former resident of Cape May, New Jersey before making her home in Newton. She was deeply loved by her family and those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ira Vernon; her father, John Grant; her mother, Paulette (Martin) Grant; her brother, John J. A. Grant; and her sister, Kathleen DiSavino.
Judith is survived by her children, who remember her with deep affection: Daniel I. Tierson of Newton, NJ, John Joseph Tierson of Boonton, NJ, Paulette Napier and her spouse, Ronnie, of Peru, IN, and Thomas Gordon and his spouse, Melissa, of Linton, IN. She leaves behind her supportive sisters, Mary Fox of Newton, NJ, Paulette Paliana of Jacksonville, FL, and Gisele Sanfilippo of Lafayette, NJ. Judith's legacy of love and warmth continues through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will treasure her memory always.
In her personal life, Judith loved the Yankees, the Giants, and she had a special affection for Irish music. Her kindness and love for those around her will always be cherished by the many lives she touched.
