Born in Pompton Plains on October 30, 1988, Kristoffer spent much of his life in Andover Township before making his home in Newton following his marriage to Rebecca Ritzer in 2015. He was employed as a gas foreman with New Jersey Natural Gas, a career in which he took great pride and found fulfillment for 10 years.
A devoted sports enthusiast, Kristoffer faithfully supported the Giants, Rangers, and Mets. He loved going down the shore, especially his time spent at Wildwood Beach. Kristoffer treasured the annual family vacations to Disney—special moments where he cherished creating lasting memories with his beloved wife and children.
Above all, Kristoffer was a dedicated husband, father, son, and brother. He leaves fond memories to his loving wife, Rebecca Van Haste; his children, Killian, Ronin, and Declan Van Haste; his parents, Rick and Donna Van Haste; his brother, Rick Van Haste and wife Ashley; his sister, Kory Davis; his nephew and niece, Silas and Emma Van Haste; his parents-in-law, Sharon and Paul Ritzer; and his sisters-in-law, Colleen and Hailey Ritzer.
