Linda Lou Steele

Linda was born in Dover, raised and Waterloo and was a long time Sussex County resident. She worked the snack bar at Sparta Lanes for 12 years prior to her retirement. Linda enjoyed bowling and playing cards and bingo. She also loved her cats and dogs.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Robert E. Smith and Dorothy Marie Bell; and her sisters, Bonnie Conklin and Barbara Meshach. She is survived by her husband, Randy Steele, whom she married on September 16, 1995; her sisters, Mary Ann Crumb, Dianna Smith, Wanda Kymack, and Margaret Davis; and her brothers, Robert Smith, Leroy Smith, Michael Smith, Timothy Smith and Clifford Smith.

Visitation will be held from 11am to 12 noon on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, Newton, NJ. A Graveside service will follow in Tranquility Cemetery, 19 Maple Lane, Green Township.
