Dear Kerri, Our hearts go out to June, Kim, and you and your children. The Batche boys were a very special group of men. We felt like they all became family in the few years we had together. I can’t imagine the pain you are feeling with this double loss. Please know that my entire family is sending love and prayers to you. As Mike said he hoped Mark was with Steve, we all take comfort in all three brothers being together again.😢🙏😘

I am so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing! Mike was a student of mine at Ainsworth High School my first two years of teaching. He was on my yearbook and newspaper staffs. I enjoyed working with him his junior snd senior years. I could count on him to complete assignments and be there when we needed extra help. He and Steve Fox were best buddies and were quite the twosome.
I live in Philadelphia now and have thought how I should meet up with Mike and share memories. I was on Facebook with him, and regret not scheduling a get together.
RIP Mike. I hope that heaven brings you together with your family and Steve. May your family continue and share your legacy.

I will miss Mr. Batche and all the fun I had in his class this year in 9th grade. When the last school bell rang, I enjoyed walking past his classroom since he would have music blasting. RIP Mr. Batche

Batche took me under his wing in high school, taught me what tools were, and taught me things weren’t always so bad ❤️

Mr. Batche was one of the nicest, most fun teachers I’ve had, and was always there for me to make jokes and brighten my day. He cared so much about everyone he worked with and all of his students, and put so much time, effort and love into his teaching and our drama club. I give Mrs. Batche and the rest of the family my condolences, best wishes and lots of love. Mr. Batche will forever be remembered, honored and missed so much! <3
