Born in Franklin, New Jersey, Nancy was raised in Stockholm, New Jersey, by her beloved parents, Richard and Iva Allen, along with her siblings, Larry, Karen, Kim, and Jeff. Her childhood was spent surrounded in love by her family and friends.
In July of 1988 Nancy married the love of her life, Tony Rossi, and together raised three beautiful daughters: Coni, Heather, and Lyndsey, who went on to marry Rob, Chris and Fred respectively. She also had the privilege to love and spoil five lucky grandchildren: Sydney, Logan, Brandon, Ayla and Freddie.
Nancy dedicated her life to her family. She filled her heart and home with warmth and kindness while caring for her parents, her children, her family and friends. Family vacations, especially at the ocean, filled her heart with joy! Nancy was passionate about baking and gardening. Her days were humbly filled going above and beyond doing for others!
While she enjoyed several different professions, for 21 years Nancy blessed others while employed at the former Downing’s Furniture in Sparta and more recently Nancy worked at Passaic-Bergen Water Softening Company.
A devoted member of Stockholm United Methodist Church, Nancy volunteered in many ways. She blessed her pastor and church family while volunteering as treasurer and bookkeeper.
Nancy is survived by her dearly loved husband, Anthony Rossi; her daughters, Coni Van Decker and husband Rob, Heather Cascone and husband Chris, and Lyndsey Howland and husband Fred; also her parents Richard and Iva (VanBuskirk) Allen; her dear grandchildren Sydney, Logan, Freddie, Brandon and Ayla. Nancy is also survived by her siblings, Larry Allen and wife Tana, Karen Junior, Kim Karlsen and husband Hans, and Jeff Allen and wife Stacey, as well as her aunts and uncles, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
