Patricia "Pat" A. Lobban

Born in Newton, New Jersey, on March 1, 1945, Pat was the daughter of the late Henry and Marion (Mills) Pittenger.

A lifelong resident of Sussex County, Pat lived in Newton and Hampton before she and her late husband, Alexander "Sandy" Lobban, built their home in Fredon in 1972, where they lovingly raised their family.

Before retiring in 2000, Pat served as a clerk for the Sussex County Division of Social Services, dedicating herself to public service with quiet professionalism and an unwavering commitment to her community.

A longtime member of Yellow Frame Presbyterian Church, Pat found deep fulfillment in her faith and church fellowship. She had a lifelong appreciation for nature, especially bird watching and trips to the Jersey Shore. She generously gave her time as a 4-H leader, encouraging and inspiring countless young people in the community.

Pat will be remembered most for her unwavering devotion to her family. She rarely missed a sporting event involving her sons or grandchildren and was a familiar and beloved presence in the stands. Her husband often joked, "1-800-Go-Pat-Go," a phrase that perfectly captured her boundless enthusiasm and willingness to travel wherever she was needed to cheer on those she loved.

She was equally devoted to the many friendships she cultivated throughout every chapter of her life, including a special group of ladies affectionately known as the "Rose Buds."

She is survived by her sons, David Lobban and his wife, Amy, and Scott Lobban and his wife, Sara; her grandchildren, Patrick Lobban and his wife, Lanae; Parker Lobban and his wife, Sarah; Hank Lobban; and Maggie Lobban; and her great-grandchildren, Kinsley Lobban and Colton Lobban.

Interment will be held privately at a later date at Baleville Cemetery.
