Patricia, affectionately known as Patsy, was born on January 20, 1942 in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, to the late Bruce and Ruby Bowden. She spent her early years in Montreal, where her father’s career as a pilot allowed her to travel and experience the world from a young age.
On August 10, 1963, Patricia married the love of her life Thomas Squires. Their journey together led them to New Jersey in 1966, where they built a loving home and raised their children.
Patricia was a devoted follower of Jesus and expressed her love for Him as an active member of the Christian Faith Fellowship Church, where her spirit and kindness touched many. She was a talented piano player and her melodies filled her home and the hearts of those around her. Patricia also had a special fondness for coffee, a comfort she savored often and with great enthusiasm. Above all, Patricia’s greatest joy came from her family. She was a proud homemaker whose warmth, care, and love created a strong foundation for generations.
Her legacy is one of faith, devotion, and strong love for her family. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those who had the honor of knowing her.
Patricia is survived by her son, Bruce Squires and his wife Laureen; her daughter, Pamela Lammon and her husband Jim; her grandchildren, Caleb and his wife Renee, Hannah and her husband Clay, Natalie, Jeremy, and AJ; her great-grandson, Cash Thomas; and her sisters, Linda Bowden, and Gail Shaw and her husband John.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas Squires who passed away in 2013.
A celebration of Patricia’s Life will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Christian Faith Fellowship Church, 3188 State Route 94, Franklin, New Jersey 07416.
