

Phyllis was born in Wantage, grew up in Sparta and was a lifelong Sussex County resident. She attended Newton High School and went on to become a factory worker for Mennen Company.
An avid crafter and seamstress, Phyllis had a natural talent for bringing beautiful things to life with her hands. She was an active bowler for many years with the Lafayette Mixed Bowling League where she formed many close friendships. Later in life, Phyllis became a passionate fan of the New York Yankees, delighting in every game and sharing her excitement with anyone who would listen. Phyllis’ love for her family was her greatest gift, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Allen A. Hill; her parents, Daniel and Alice (Kays) Predmore; her son, Duane Allen Hill; and her brothers, Loren and Ronnie Predmore. She is survived by her children, Larry Hill and Sharon King; her grandchildren, Michelle Hon and husband, Matthew, and Bryan King and his wife, Chelsie; her great-grandchildren, Hunter Allen Hon and Tobias Periu; and her siblings, Gerald Predmore his wife, Janet, Carol Conlin her husband, George, and Barry Predmore his wife, Jane; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St, Newton, NJ. Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in Newton Cemetery, Lawnwood Ave, Newton, NJ.
