Robert was born on January 2, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Reecie and Anne (Juba) Aaron. Robert grew up in Philadelphia and lived in Chicago, IL and Chester, NJ before settling in Tranquility, NJ 41 years ago. Robert enjoyed working on model trains, woodworking and electric work around his home and loved listening to organ music.
The beloved husband to Leokadia (Lee) Aaron, Robert is also survived by his children, Erik R. Aaron and his wife, Jocelyn, Kristin Cranberry and her wife, Christiana and Sheri Greenhough and his grandchildren, Heather, Michael, Scott, Damian, Reese.
A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, 48 Tranquility Rd, Andover, NJ. Interment to follow at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Cemetery in Green Township.
