Roberto was born on February 12, 1938, in Cuba to the late Severino and Hermenea (Sanchez) Santamarina. Roberto came to the United States in the early 1970s, beginning a new chapter in Newark, New Jersey before settling in Elizabeth, where he made his home and built his life. A hardworking and determined man, Roberto was an entrepreneur and took great pride in providing through his own effort and dedication.
Known for his strong work ethic and love of life, Roberto also knew how to enjoy himself. He cherished good times, laughter, and celebrations, and was happiest surrounded by family and friends.
The beloved husband to Yolanda Santamarina, Roberto is also survived by his son, Roberto Santamarina, Jr.
