Ruthann was born in Harlem, New York and raised in the Bergenfield, New Jersey. She worked as a bookkeeper for Andersen & Vreeland for many years until her retirement at the age of 80 in November 2020. Ruthann was a long time resi-dent of Vernon, New Jersey, where she raised her family.
Ruthann was predeceased by her parents, William and Ruth (Muth) Pereira; her husband, Peter Barone; her son, Joseph Barone; and her siblings, Bobby, Kenny, Frankie and Louise Pereira. She is survived by her children, Michael Barone and wife, Brenda, Christine Barone, and Peter Barone; her grandchildren, Jackie Costanzo and husband, Anthony, Matthew Barone and wife, Megan, Kaitlyn Barone, and Charles Williams; her great-grandchildren, Anthony, Audrey, Juliet and Jill; her sister, Cindy Schlesinger and husband, Paul; her brother, William Pereira and wife, Norie; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces.
