Sally was born in Franklin, to the late Loran and Lillian (Lothridge) Search. She was a lifelong Ogdensburg resident that enjoyed being in Sussex County. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service and she was also a Beautician for many years.
Sally was a member of the Kittatinny Rangers Square Dance Club; she was an avid bowler and volunteered for many years at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd food pantry in Wantage.
Sally is survived by her son, Matthew Mason, and his wife Naomi; her grandsons, Caleb, Noah, Nathanael and Charles Mason; her sister, Dorothy Powers; her ex-husband and friend, Robert Mason and many loving nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, her son, Michael Mason and her sister, Mary Owens, predeceased Sally.
A visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022, at the funeral home with interment to follow at North Hardyston Cemetery in Hamburg.
