Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Terry was raised in Dover, then moved to Sussex County in 1999. He was the Shop Manager at Denville Bear & Body where he was employed for 28 years. Terry enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the North Jersey Clay Target Club.
The son of the late Angelene Dunio Shaffer, Terry is survived by his wife, Carolann Shaffer; his son, Matt Shaffer of Bordentown; his father, Joseph Shaffer of Sandyston Township; his brother, John Sisto of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; his sister, Charmaine Wittmann of Boynton Beach, Florida; his daughter-in-law, Megan Shaffer of Bordentown; and his granddaughters, Leah Martinez and Molly Shaffer.
Services are private and under the direction of the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton, NJ.
