Thomas was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Arnold and Jenny (Parry) Russell. He grew up in Orange, NJ and lived in Gettysburg, PA and Midlothian, VA before moving to Fredon Township in 2006. Thomas earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 2008, he worked in the liquor industry as a Salesman. Thomas loved being the commissioner of his family fantasy football league. He adored his granddaughters.
Thomas is survived by his son, Todd Russell and his wife Kathleen of Princeton; his daughter, Kimberly Russell and her husband John Schwarz of North Caldwell; his nephew Michael Russell and his wife Liz Russell and their son Brian Russell of Canadensis, PA and his granddaughters, Samantha Schwarz, Grace Schwarz, Madeline Russell, Julianne Russell and Abigail Russell.
