Vincent "Vinnie" E. Crawn, Jr.

Vincent E. “Vinnie” Crawn, Jr., 74, of Stillwater Township died Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Morristown Medical Center.

Vinnie was born in Newton and was a lifelong Sussex County resident. He served proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Vinnie worked for Lime Crest Quarry in Lafayette for many years prior to retirement. He was also a member of the Branchville American Legion.

Vinnie was predeceased by his parents, Vincent E. Crawn, Sr. and Dorothy Sliker; and his siblings, Ruth Scola, John Crawn and Cheri Crawn. He is survived by his wife, Linda M. (Carriera) Crawn; his daughter, Staci Zeman; and his sisters, Pauline Crawn and Tammy Davies; his grandchildren Hunter, Bella, and Willow; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be announced for Vinnie at a later date. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Vincent’s name to Newton VFW Post 5360, 85 Mill St, Newton, NJ 07860. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, Newton, NJ www.smithmccrackenfuneralhome.com.

Vinnie was my cousin..we lost touch over the years. Vinnie
was a great guy very easy going kind hearted...the whole family was,, we all grew up together,hung out ....I have a lot of great memories with my cousins.
Rest In Peace Vinnie.
