Please accept our sincere condolences. Zak’s friendship means a lot to his colleagues.
I wish to pass the deepest sympathies from Zak’s former colleagues in Karun III project in Iran. Zak’s  presence in Iran goes back over 20 years ago, but his legacy is very well remembered. His kind manner alone with his exceptional leadership and technical expertise remains in our hearts for ever.

Please  accept our deepest condolences for the loss of our good friend, Zak. Both Zhanet and I miss his friendship and approach to life. We like to share our sympathy with Elizabeth and the whole family.

Deb and I would like to express our condolences on your loss. Zak was an intelligent, articulate, kind and wise colleague who inspired great work while at the same time recognizing the need for personal and family time. When I had my first knee replaced, Zak was a great inspiration having gone through that himself twice before! He will always be in my memory.

I worked with Zak for many years at Acres and Hatch, knowing him as an extremely savvy and competent engineer and manager,  but also as a warm hearted human being always ready to listen and provide sage advice where needed.

Elizabeth, Sanna, Murad, Ozzie my deepest condolences. In the years since I first met him I've come to realize that I've never met a finer gentleman or a better or more generous friend than Zak. I will miss him deeply.

I will always keep close the wonderful memories of my High School days with Guida in Cairo, Egypt where we shared many school adventures as young lads, soccer games, trips around Egypt, tennis games at the Club. Guida was good buddy - always enthusiastic and eager to participate in the next thing. We were fortunate to meet again a few years ago as retirees and were able to renew our friendship. We are privileged to have shared many precious moments together with Guida and Elizabeth.
Guida will be missed for leaving us too soon.
May his memory be eternal.

I worked at Acres/Hatch for 21 years in a secretarial capacity and saw Zak every day.  (I commenced work at Acres/Hatch in January 1990, and retired at the end of December 2010.)  As well as seeing him on a daily basis, I also had pleasant conversations with him regularly.  He was a very kind man and very approachable.  I am deeply saddened and shocked by his death.
