June 22, 1943 – January 31, 2026
Ada passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Tufford Manor Retirement Residence in St. Catharines, Ontario, at the age of 82.
With hearts full of love and gratitude, we remember our beloved mother, Ada, whose life was a beautiful example of love, strength, and devotion. She was the heart and soul of our family. A steady presence in times of joy and challenge, a source of wisdom when we sought guidance, and a wellspring of unconditional love that never wavered. Her days were filled with acts of quiet generosity, and her words carried comfort and encouragement. She taught us the value of compassion, the importance of perseverance, and the joy of cherishing life’s simple blessings. Ada dedicated her life to God, her family, and serving others through her work in local churches. As a devoted single mother, Ada didn’t have much time for hobbies, yet she found joy in every moment spent with her children …walking, swimming, biking, cooking, gardening, dancing, listening to music, and simply being together. Family was everything to her. She had an incredibly big heart and was always giving to those in need. Though she is no longer with us in person, her spirit lives on in the traditions she passed down, the lessons she instilled, and the love she poured into every life she touched. We carry her memory in our hearts, finding strength and comfort in knowing her love will never fade.
Forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered by her children Vince Carpino (Ana), Mario Carpino (Serap), Paul Carpino (Kelly), and Melissa Carpino (Bobby Boychuk); her loving grandchildren Natasha (Michael), Phallon (Matthew), Braeden (Megan), Matthew, Mark, Steven, and Willow; and her great-grandchildren Miles, Nelia, Adriana, Tessa, and Weston. Dear sister of Lidia Moreau, Sam Piacenti (predeceased), Mary Perlingieri, and Vince Piacenti (Rosanna).
