Albert Edward Crabbe

Died Sunday December 19, 2010, at Bella Senior Care Residence. Beloved husband of Frances. Dear father of Richard (Cathy) and Joanne, Stepfather of Raymond (Cheryl), Larry (Debbie), James (Tania) and Sandra Anderson. Dearly loved grandfather of Lynne, Rick, Jason, Mary, Stephanie, Ray, Jaret, Julie, Melissa, Michele and Robert. He will be missed by his many great grandchildren. Dear brother of Fred Crabbe (Evelyn), Earl Crabbe and Mary Barnes (Bob). Also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews. Al was predeceased by his wife Vera (1993) and his grandson Bradley Anderson, his parents Henry and Mary, brother William Crabbe and sisters Alice Matthews, Dorothy Coombs, Lola Bissel and his dear friend James Anderson.

Al was employed with Cyanamid of Canada for over 40 years, but his first love was driving for Canada Coach Highway Bus Lines. He continued driving his beloved coaches throughout his entire life until retirement in 1995. Along the path of his life he made many friends and will be missed by all, including his lifelong friend Harold Hedgeman.

Resting at the funeral chapel of HETHERINGTON AND DEANS, 5176 Victoria Ave., where the family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held at St. Andrews United Church on Thursday December 23, 2010, at 11 AM. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Contributions to Bella Senior Care Residents Council would be appreciated by the family.
