

Andrew Joseph Cloutier passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday April ll, 2026 at the age of 87. Andy is survived by his daughter Andrea (Jay) and his son Christopher (Sophie) & mother of his children Dawn (Paul).
Andy is predeceased by his parents Lionel & Elaine, his sisters Lucille & Julie and his brothers Ron, Roger, & Lou. Andy will be missed by his sisters-in-laws Dee and Stella Cloutier. Andy has now been reunited with his twin brother Claude.
Andy will be lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews & his cousin Don Dion.
Andy worked at Ford Motor C. retiring after 28 years of service. He was well known in the local sporting circle, having played and excelling in hockey, baseball, golf and was an active community volunteer. He was well loved by the Niagara Riverhawks. He spent many years with his twin brother Claude as equipment managers where they were mentors to many players. Andy’s passion was cheering on the Montreal Canadiens and the New York Yankees. Andy also served in the American Army from 1962 to 1964. He was proud of this accomplishment.
Andy & his children just returned from their trip to New York where he fulfilled a lifetime dream of being on the field of Yankee Stadium and getting to watch his Yankees play live. The excitement and smile he expressed upon his return will never be forgotten.
The “Diesel Fitter” Coffee Club and Leo and the Hockey Crew will truly miss Andy.
Friends are invited to Patterson Funeral Home on Wednesday April 22, 2026 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with Funeral services on Thursday April 23rd at 11am. An interment at Fairview cemetery will follow.
In Lieu of flowers, Andrea & Christopher would ask for donations to Heaters Heroes or Meals on Wheels Niagara.
