Angela 'Angie' Martin (nee Amadio)

MARTIN (nee Amadio), Angela 'Angie' - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday June 2, 2019 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Reno Martin (2010). Cherished mother of Robert (Patricia), Daniel (Marzanne), Anne Marie (Jeffery), loving grandmother of Rhiannon (David), Russell, Dominic, Vincent, Giancarlo, Samantha and Christine and great-grandmother of Jacob and Chloe. She will be sadly missed by her brother Cec, brothers-in-law Louis and Roland, sisters-in-law Mary, Luda, Nellie, Rose and Teresa, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Antonio and Anna Maria Amadio, brother Eno, brothers-in-law Murray, Silvano, William, Leo and Doug and sisters-in-law Irma, Jean, Susan, Josephine, and Shirley. Mrs. Martin was a proud member of the CWL and St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Patrick's Church and Alumni of St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Hamilton (Class of 1945). She was a teacher at The Greater Niagara School of Nursing and continued educating at Niagara College Allied Health, from which she retired in 1984. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am at St. Patrick's Church. The Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery, where she will be reunited and laid to rest next to her beloved husband Reno. In memory of Mrs. Martin, contributions to St. Patrick's Church or The St. Vincent de Paul Society (St. Patrick's Church) would be appreciated by her family.
