Passed away at GNGH after a short illness on January 12th 2013. Predeceased by her husband Eric. Survived by her siblings Muriel (the late Harold) Long, Claude (Florence) Purchase, Stanley (the late Jean) Purchase. She will be missed by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her brother John, Max (Ethel), Arthur (Molly), Sister Amelia (Robert) & parents Abia & Amelia Purchase. Mary worked in Toronto & St John’s NFLD as a teacher & was a member of Christ Church. Mary was an avid reader and loved to do crosswords. In keeping with Mary’s wishes, cremation and a private inurnment has taken place. A memorial Service will be held at Christ Church, 4750 Zimmerman Avenue, Niagara Falls, on Saturday January 19th at 11:00am.
