Annette Marie Brideau

Annette died peacefully surrounded by her family on February 15, 2017. Mom was born to Theotime and Catherine Landry on April 8, 1930 in Tracadie, New Brunswick, having lived in Niagara Falls since the age of 19. She leaves behind her loving family; daughters Susanne Prue and Linda (the late Bruce) Reid; grandchildren Melissa Prue, Christine (Paco) Sanchez, Nicholas and Christopher Reid; precious great-granddaughters Lauren and Katherine Sanchez, and many nieces and nephews. Mom will also be missed by her extended family Keith and Linda (and the late Sheila) Sykes and son James Sykes and many other friends in York, England. Mom’s hands were never idle and she especially enjoyed knitting and English smocking. She was a long-time member of St. Patrick’s CWL and also enjoyed many years of travel to England, Portugal, and her beloved Scotland.

The family will receive visitors at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls on Monday Feb. 20th, 2017 from 12:00-4:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 4673 Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls on Tues. Feb. 21st, 2017 at 10:00am with Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Donations to St. Patrick’s Church would be appreciated.
