Bruce Wayne Brace

It is with profound shock and sadness we announce Wayne’s sudden passing on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the age of 52 years. Beloved son of Judy and Demitri Jekinsjan and the late Bruce Brace (2010). Cherished soul mate of Mary Lou “Lulu” Sager. Dear father of Eric Brace and step-father of Mary Lou Turner, Tina Turner, and the late Todd Turner. Survived by 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Loving brother of Michelle (Steve) Colwell and Jamie Jekinsjan. Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Wayne loved everything about motorcycles and dreamed of one day owning his own Harley Davidson. He cherished his family above everything else and enjoyed spending as much time with his family, close and extended. He was a kind and helpful man who was compassionate towards others. He would give the shirt off of his own back if it would ease the suffering of another person. We have truly lost a ‘good soul’.

In keeping with Wayne’s wishes, cremation has taken place through Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel. A private Graveside Service will take place on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery where he will physically join his stepson Todd and his grandson Hayden. Please wait just inside the main gates (head of Maple Street) for just prior to 1 p.m. We will process as a group to the grave at service time.
