Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at GNGH after a lengthy illness at the age of 70 on Sunday January 6th 2013. Survived by her loving husband and best friend Gary, son Gary Jr. (Julia) and precious grandchildren Alex & Alyssa who meant the world to her. Carol will be sadly missed by her siblings Barbara (Pete),Tom (late Jean), Debi (Pete), Sue (Mike) & Kim (Anne),brother-in-law Frank (Karen), sister-in-law Patty (Barry) and many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her parents, in-laws & niece Carrie. Carol worked for over 30 yrs with the Niagara Parks Commission managing various restaurants throughout her career.
In keeping with Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
The family will receive visitors at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls on Wednesday January 9th from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, 5645 Morrison St. Niagara Falls on Thursday Jan. 10th at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Tender Wishes Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
