Catharine Hazel (Convery) Housser

It is with profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Catharine on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband Robert Housser and her best friend Douglas Moore. Dear mother of Callie (Kellie) Sumbler (Phil) Pratt, Chris (Valerie) Housser, Timothy (Heather) Housser, Sarah (Flossie) Housser, Roger Housser (Carol), Jerry Housser (Gloria), Janet Housser (Bernie), Peter (Tina) Housser, and the late Richard Sumbler. Cherished grandmother of Michelle Robertson, Jennifer Graham, Katie Housser, Mark Housser, Rachel Housser, Callie Housser, Bobby Housser, Shannon Housser, Teddy Housser, Erin Housser, Jacob Housser, Victoria Housser, and Russell Housser, as well as 6 great-grandchildren: Tori, Cassidy, Jessica, Kennedy, Sadie, and Maxine. Predeceased by her siblings: Lettie Patterson, Sadie Sweitzer, Hugh Convery, Joseph Convery, Marie Clarkson, and Anne Swaine. Survived by several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Catharine’s wishes, a private Graveside Service will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, St. Catharines. Family and friends will be received on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls.
