HICKS, Charles "Chuck" - It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of our precious "Chuck" at Valley Park Lodge on Sunday October 28, 2012 at the age of 63. Devoted and treasured son of Doreen and the late James Wallace and the late Edward Hicks. Much loved brother and friend of Doug and Sue Hicks, Gaylene and Burke Archibald, Mike and Karen Wallace and Scott Wallace. Fondly remembered nephew of Dorothy Hand, Norm and Jean Swain and the Hicks family. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Special friend to Gwen Shadlock. Chuck was an avid bowler and a die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Blue Jays and Buffalo Bills fan and the family's resident "Weather Man". For 23 years Chuck proudly worked as a caretaker's assistant at St. Thomas More school and made many friends along the way. Chuck's love for life was truly contagious and he could light up a room with his smile. All that were fortunate enough to know him were truly blessed. We know that he is in heaven dancing his heart out. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Service in celebration of Chuck's life will be held at PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St., on Friday at 12p.m. To honour Chuck's love of children donations in his memory to Tender Wishes would be appreciated by his family.
