Charles William Upton

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Charles, at Meadows of Dorchester, on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by loving wife Margaret. Father of Randy and his wife Wendy. Cherished grandfather of Michael (Alyssa) and Matthew (Jenelle). Great-grandfather of Vera. Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Margaret Upton and his siblings, Thomas Upton, Dorothy Blew, and Jack Upton.

Charles was born in Niagara Falls, New York and moved to Ontario at the age of two. He retired as Manager of Brinks Express. He was a long-standing member of the Masonic Lodge.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place through Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel. An inurnment in Fairview Cemetery will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 11 a.m. For those wishing to attend the Graveside Service, please park inside the main gates (head of Maple Street) for just prior to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Meadows of Dorchester would be appreciated by the family.
