Clara 'Belle' Liberty

LIBERTY, Clara 'Belle' (nee Lelievre) Love lives on….. Our sweet Mum entered into eternal rest at GNGH on Thursday June 27, 2024 at the tender age of 92. She was welcomed to her heavenly home by her husband Don (2002) and her son Ron (2014). In addition, she was predeceased by four brothers and five sisters. She will be forever loved and remembered by her sons Jerry, Peter (Jackie), and Ken (Debbie) Liberty, and daughters Karen (Todd) Wilson and Brenda (the late Tracy) Mangan. Belle loved and doted on her 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is fondly remembered by sisters in law Aileen Adams and Helen Lelievre, and daughter in law Jo Anne Liberty. With grateful hearts, the family thanks Wendy and Robin Gilbert, Aileen Adams, RoseAnn Bryan, and her daily tea time buddy Merle Reid for their exceptional devotion and love for our Mum. Belle was a well-loved and dedicated mother who easily made friends everywhere she went. Small in stature, but fierce in action, she met life’s challenges with humility, strength and faith. A devout Catholic, Belle selflessly served the Lord donating many hours to St. Patrick’s Church, and was a long-time member of the CWL. She enjoyed many church adventures, including trips to Ireland, the East Coast and Israel. She was a fantastic baker, delicious soup maker and very skilled at knitting, crocheting, and all types of crafts. Her sweet smile, quick wit and infectious laughter will be forever missed. Friends are invited to join the family at the Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, Ontario on Thursday July 4th 2024 from 3pm to 7pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday July 5th 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick’s Church, Niagara Falls. Cremation will follow.
