Sincere condolences to Mr. Yando and family.  I remember Mrs. Yando from Sunday School days in Niagara Falls many many years ago.  Very sorry for your loss.

I will always remember Dorothys smiles as I used to walk in every Sunday mornings for Sunday school! She was always happy and joyful to be around. My heart goes out to you all in your Loss.

Uncle Louie, Sandy, Billy and your beautiful families, I am deeply sorry for your loss now and earlier when she got ill. She had so many gifts and so much caring to give to so many and I am a deeply grateful recipient of her 'mothering' and generosity. She always stepped up and volunteered herself and Uncle Louie whenever I needed anything. You all are forever in my heart and prayers.

   A women that I will never forget. I grew up in the Salvation Army, and Mrs. Yando (not Dorothy) was always there. You knew that when you got pulled out of Sunday School of the church service, that you were in trouble. She just had to show you that finger that said come here, and you were done. She was one of the few, including her husband Louie that I truly respected. I had not been to church for many years, yet she showed up at my Mom and my Dad's wake. I was so proud to have had the opportunity to know her. When we would play in the Timbrells...Sandy, Lyndy and myself. She would be all smiles. She felt like the proud Mom of all of us. 
      You truly were one in a million. My love and respect for you will go on forever. I just hope that I have learned to behave, until I see you again. What a wonderful women.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Dorothy.   I remember her as a spitfire of energy always greeting me with a big bear hug and leaving a lipstick mark on my cheek from the kiss she planted there. May you hold your memories close so she lives on in your hearts forever.

Dorothy was a comitted servant of the Lord with always a word of encouragement and caring concern for others. She and Louie were very dear to our family and were always there for us in loving support. My prayers and sympathy are with you Louie and family. Dorothy is resting in the arms of the Lord and shining bright in the presence of the angels.

I have so many memories I don't even know where to begin, but one that stands out is the endless trips to Darien Lake and Fantasy Island and how much Nana loved the log rides. We would get so wet and have so much fun. She just loved to see us all happy and laughing. She was never Dorothy to any of my friends growing up, she was always Nana Doe Doe. She had nothing but love to share and as painful as this loss is, I know that her memory will live on through all of the lives that she impacted with her loving heart.

One of my many favorites story was our trip to cedar point .  Sandy and I finally convinced ma and pa to go on the log ride with us telling them they only get a little wet,us knowing full well what would what would happen and it did we were 4 drowned rats laughing so hard . I always enjoyed our trips and boat rides my time spent with my amazing adopted family and my best friend love you Sandy and love you mom Yando RIP previous angel xoxo
