Peacefully on January 13, 2022, surrounded by his family, at the Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie. Ted leaves behind his wife and best friend, Tammy, his brother Ron (Tammy), nephews Rob and Chris Higgs, and great nieces and nephews. He is survived by his loving aunt Elizabeth, his uncle Jim Higgs and his aunt Nancy Bell. Fondly remembered by cousins Lou (Belinda), Bruno (Kim) and Amalia Casagrande, as well as many others. Predeceased by his parents Ronald and Shirley, his brother Bill, beloved son Mitchell and his uncle Butch Neil.
Ted was an avid motorcyclist and could be found riding his Harley everywhere he could, unless the Steelers were playing. Ted was a diehard fan and cheered them on to the end with his fur buddy Desi. He worked for many years as an industrial electrician, most notably at Rich Products in Fort Erie where he made many friends.
Cremation has taken place and was entrusted to Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel (905-354-5614). A private family service will be held with burial at Fairview Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations made to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
