Peacefully at GNGH on Saturday November 9th, 2013 with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband John (1995) Lawson and son John (2007) Ginny. Survived by her son Robert (Wendy) Lawson & daughter-in-law Ruth. Beloved grandmother to John ( Tammy) Lawson, Mark (Michelle) Lawson, Heather (Aaron) Jeske, Michael & Julie Lawson. Great-grandmother to William, Dina & Isabelle. Best friend & sister to Rhona Learmonth, Esther (Davey) Martin & extended family in Scotland. Betty will be missed by many nieces & nephews. Sadly missed and remembered by her neighbours on Paddock Trail Drive & Kim her adopted daughter & especially her friend Sandra Irvine. Betty worked at the Brock Unit as a nurses aid as well as in the Emergency Unit as a nurses aid at GNGH.
The family will receive visitors at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls on Tuesday November 12th from 6-8pm and Wednesday from 10-11:00am with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00. Burial at Fairview Cemetery.
