It is with great sorrow that we announce her passing on March 25th, 2016 in her 69th year.
She is survived by her brother Joseph (Sandy) Monaghan, children Terri (Rob) Matson, Daniel (Bobbie) Danku and Marina (Joe) Di Cristo, her grandchildren Rachel Smith (Matson), Jackson (Evans), Rylee, Dante, Matthew and Daniel Di Cristo, great-grandchildren Leilah and Kubrat and family friend Bruce (Barb) Davies.
Cremation has taken place and in keeping with Denise wishes, no visitation or service will be held.
A private family memorial will be held in the future.
Many thanks to the caring staff at Oakwood Park Lodge and the ICU doctors/nurses at the Welland County General Hospital.
Donations in memory of Denise may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association and the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
