Evelyn 'Beryl' Stewart

STEWART, Evelyn 'Beryl' - Passed away after a brief and courageous fight at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Wednesday April 27, 2016 at the age of 87. Predeceased by her husband Bob (1999) and her son Brian (1980). Beloved mother of Bob (Susan) Stewart, Donna Everson (Lee Robertson), Barry (Sherry) Stewart, Wendy (Gary) Bailey, Brett Stewart and Bart Stewart. Cherished Grandma of John, Jeff, Gerald, Jessica (Jason) Mayfield, Jennifer (Peter) Hutcheon, Jason (Kari) Everson, Melissa and Tyler Stewart, David and Stephanie Mills. Loving Great-Grandma of Destiny, Judah, Jonathan, Jordan, Justice, Josiah, Joshua, Jedidiah, Claire, William, Ava, Elianna, Nayé, Sasha and Arianna.  She is survived by her brothers Greg (Connie) Moore, Aubrey (Ann) Moore and Ron Moore and her sister Arlayne (Bob) Mercer and many nieces and nephews. Beryl was a member of the Coronation Centre and Lions Club, where she will be sadly missed by her card party friends and her friend Dave. She worked as a Front Desk Manager and Tourism Representative for over 25 years at Michael's Inn, where she earned the Tourism Award from the City of Niagara Falls.  Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Saturday May 14, 2016 from 12 to 2 pm. A Memorial Service in celebration of her life will be held at 2 pm at the funeral home. Private family interment will take place at a later date. In memory of Beryl, memorial contributions may be made to The ONE Foundation or The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and would be appreciated by her family.
