Filomena 'Phyllis' Brown (neé Rivabella)

BROWN, Filomena 'Phyllis' (nee Rivabella) - Passed away suddenly at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Tuesday May 27, 2014 at the age of 58. Mena was the lifetime cherished companion of George Milonas. Beloved and devoted mother to Erica Brown (Mike), Matt Brown (Tiffany )and Adam Brown (Megan). Loving Nonna of Isabella. Dearly loved daughter of Raffaele and the late Incoronata Rivabella and daughter-in-law of Angela Rigas. Dear sister of Rosalba (Sam) Cimino, Antoinette (Tony) Subhan and Susie (Bob) Lambert and sister-in-law of Kathy (Jeff) Howell. Dear niece of Mary Tirabasso. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Tyler and Brittany Gale, Curtis and Rebecca Ames, Tania Krawczyk, Amelia Subhan and Bert Howell and by her good friends Jordan Damiani, Doug Jones and Jim Spitali. Predeceased by her sister Carmella and uncle Joe Tirabasso. Phyllis will also be forever remembered and sadly missed by her friends and colleagues at the CIBC on Portage Road where she worked as a mortgage officer for over 30 years. Phyllis was an avid runner, and successfully ran many major marathons, including the Boston and New York City Marathons. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
