Gerry was an amazing woman. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know her and her family a little bit, and also surprisingly find some unexpected connections. Gerry was always happy and smiling when I saw her, she will be greatly missed. Deepest condolences to the family.

I remember the many happy times and great memories being up North with your Mom. Going swimming in the lake and sitting on the front porch or the dock and having many funny conversations. I remember when we all went for a plane ride up North , your Mom was so funny and had a great sense of humour. She loved Bandit and Bandit loved her because he knew he would great treats from Grandma Hicks. She love the Potter boys and they loved grandma Hicks. So many happy memories. Grandma Hicks was a great lady.

This great memory goes back to the 1990's. When ever Gerry was visiting with Kimmy and Bruce and we all would go walking our greyhounds together. Gerry just loved walking with our Clancy. He minded her perfectly and she really loved the greyhounds sweet dispositions. Gerry had loved all the dogs we had introduced to her. Her heart had so much love in it. She will always be remembered fondly.

Gerry will always hold a special place in my heart. She was like another mother to me always checking on me and having stories to tell me. She was always happy to see me which made me feel like one of the family. Every time I would leave she always kissed me and said I love you. It breaks my heart to lose you but we will meet again

Gerri was my great friend. We would have many of laughs in the library at Willoughby manor . She always looked forward to happy hour for the music snacks and the odd beer. She loved being with people and told lots of funny stories. She will be truly missed.
