Frank DeFazio

DEFAZIO, Frank - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on January 10, 2015 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of 55 years to Antoinette (Liberta) DeFazio. Dearly loved father of Frances (Jimmy Lee) Bonnell, Pat (Nazli) DeFazio, Christine (Jim) DeFazio-Scott. Cherished Nonno of Kayla, Julia and Adam Scott. Dear brother of Luisa (Mike) Potalivo, Carmela Passanisi, Anita (Vince) Cortese, Vince (Jenny) DeFazio and Tony (Kathie) DeFazio. Loving brother-in-law of Colleen DeFazio, Elena Forte and Delores (Domenic) Senese. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and extended family and by the many close members of his Christian fellowship. Predeceased by his brother Joe DeFazio, his sister Irene Rizzi and his brothers-in-law Nick Rizzi, John Passanisi, Tony Liberta and John Forte. Mr. DeFazio will be remembered by his family for the love and devotion he showed them. He was also a devout Christian, spending many hours reading the Bible and practicing his faith. He also had a passion for gardening and loved being in his greenhouse. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. A special Thank you to the staff of the GNGH ICU and Emergency Depts. for their compassion and care.
