Fred passed away at Douglas Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, he was 82 years of age. Fred was born and raised in St. Catharines until moving to the Falls in the early sixties. Throughout his working career he was employed by Ontario Hydro and then Niagara Falls Hydro, from which he retired in 1994. His sports interests included rowing, lacrosse, basketball, and football, and in later years golf became his game of choice. He was an active member of the Niagara Falls Optimist Club for over 40 years, enjoying a good friendship with Nick. Fred is survived by Carolyn, son Brad and Tyfanni, grandchildren Maeve, Eden, Kade; daughter Stacey and granddaughter Chloe.
