Jerry spent the last 5 years at 373 Garrison Place, where he enjoyed the friendship of many and was very happy.
In lieu of flowers donations to COPE or The Salvation Army, his 2 favorite charities, would be much appreciated.
We would like to thank, as dad would often say “the best doctor in the world” Dr. Kim Scher, for his years of care and kindness. We would also like to thank the staff at 373 Garrison, who made him feel like he was part of their family.
Cremation to take place and ashes will be interred in his much loved birth place Glace Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia - “the most beautiful spot on earth” he would often say and where part of his heart remained until the end.
An open house to remember Jerry will be held at The Canadian Sportsmans Club, 1436 Bertie Street, Fort Erie, on Saturday December 20th from 1- 4p.m..
