Passed away on April 30, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on January 22, 1944, in Pisciotta, Salerno, Italy, he was a resident of Niagara Falls, Ontario. Gerardo will be missed by his son Stephen Smith, Niagara Falls, brother Salvatore (Helga), in Germany, nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
Gerardo attended St. Thomas More Catholic Church for many years. He was a gentle and kind person who loved gardening and sharing his harvest with his neighbors. He also, loved bird watching and feeding them.
Visitation will be held at Patterson Funeral Home Ltd., 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls, Ontario, on Monday, June 1, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm.
