Giuseppe 'Joe' Muraca

MURACA, Giuseppe 'Joe' - passed away after a brief illness on Thursday June 9 2022 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 82. Beloved and most cherished father of Angelo Muraca, Frank Muraca (Maria Ramunno) and Enzo (Maria) Muraca. Loving Nonno of Kyle, Alexa, Vanessa and Theresa Muraca. Giuseppe is survived by his brother Vincenzo (Lucia) Muraca, sister Maria (Tony) Rizzo and sister-in-law Carmela Muraca. Zio Pepe will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews. He will be forever remembered by Rose Muraca. Predeceased by his parents Angelo and Assuanta Muraca and siblings Fernando (Maria) Muraca, Angelo Muraca, Tony (Carmela) Muraca, Mario (Michelina) Muraca and Petro-Paulo (Teresa) Muraca. Giuseppe passions were dancing, playing Bocce, gardening, wine, family and friends. He was a friend to everyone and loved doing random acts of kindness for anyone who needed extra help. He immigrated from Cicala Italy to Canada in 1957 and started with humble beginnings. Although Giuseppe was determined and had a mind of his own, a traditionalist and set in his ways and we loved him unconditionally and deeply to the very end. He was a member of St. Ann's Church and a founding member of Club Italia. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Sunday June 12, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday June 13th 2022 at 10:30 am at St. Ann's Church. The Rite of Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum.
