Gladys Davidson

DAVIDSON, Gladys (nee Tarka) - Passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Friday July 30, 2021 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of 61 years to William 'Bill' Davidson and cherished mother of Jim (Chrissy) Davidson and Kathy (Bob) Klipich. Loving grandmother of Nicholas, Connor and Allie Davidson, Kandis and Jason Klipich and Staci (Robert) Brown, and great-grandmother to Aralyn and Jazlyn. Gladys is survived by sisters-in-law Barb Davidson and Franca Davidson, her nieces and nephews; John (Gloria) Davidson, Robin (Laurie) Davidson, Donna (Gary) Sutton, Billy (Wendy) Burns, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her brother Joseph (the late Betty) Tarka, brother-in-law Scotty (the late Clare) Davidson, Agnes (the late Joe) Burns, Elsie (the late Estes) Snyder, Alec Davidson and James Davidson. Gladys was well known for her love of crafts from dressmaking to cake decorating. She was an active and long time member of the St. David's Lioness Club. Gladys will be remembered for her gentle soul and love of animals. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place Sunday August 15, 2021 from 1 to 4 pm at the St. David's Lions Club. A graveside service will take place at a later date at Lundy's Lane Cemetery. In memory of Gladys, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer Society Niagara or The St. David's Lions Club, and would be appreciated.
