Hilda Ann Bernard

BERNARD, Hilda Ann (nee Gray) - Passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday October 15, 2023 at the age of 91. She is reunited with her beloved husband John of 73 years who passed just days before. Loving mother to Mary (Orest) Szymanski, Dennis (Patsy) Bernard, Ann (Peter) Liefl, the late Joe (Donna) Bernard, and John Philip (Lisa) Bernard. She will be missed by her sister Angela, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John Wesley and Elizabeth (nee Firlotte) Gray and her brothers and sisters. Hilda was a wonderful woman who loved her family, her gardens and was an awesome baker and a great cook. She was a devout Catholic and prayed the rosary faithfully. She recently learned how to play the guitar and enjoyed playing for family. Friends are invited to join the family at PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main Street in Niagara Falls, on Thursday October 19 2023, visiting from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday October 20th at 1:30 pm, with the Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
