Jacqueline "Jackie" G. (Arsenault) Jackson

Peacefully passed away, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Oakwood Park Lodge, at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of the late Gary Jackson. Loving Mum of Chris (Sonia) Bateman, Robert Bateman and Trudy Bateman-Long. Cherished Nana of Nick (Melissa), Samantha, Jordynn, Kirsten, Matthew, Damian, and Christina. Survived by four great-grandchildren. Jackie will be remembered by her 7 brothers and sisters, her many nieces and nephews, the Jackson family and her former husband and friend James “Jim” Bateman. Predeceased by her parents Raymond and Theresa Arsenault and her brother Robert Arsenault.

Jackie had a love of many things. She was passionate about bowling, fishing, camping, traveling, picnics, and all things “outdoors”, but her number one past time was being a major cheerleader for her grandchildren and sharing in their numerous activities with them.

A special, heart-felt thank you to Lou-Anne and the staff at Oakwood Park Lodge for their devoted care and friendship during Jackie’s time there; as well as the staff at GNGH who went above and beyond for Jackie and the family during her last days there.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at 12 noon on Sunday, February 13, 2022. Cremation has taken place.
