Jean 'Teddy' Weadon

WEADON, Jean 'Teddy' - Passed away on May 6, 2014 at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 79. Born in Dorset England, Teddy worked as a registered nurse and with special needs children. Teddy was predeceased by her husband of more than 56 years, Dennis, in December, 2011. She and Dennis were active in the local community asvolunteer Community Food Advisors and enjoyed taking the time to pass on some of their ample cooking skills to other people in the community and to promote healthy eating as part of a healthy lifestyle. Teddy was also a proud member of the Communities in Bloom committee for Fort Erie and enjoyed gardening. Teddy is survived by her son Bryn of Musquodoboit Harbour NS, and nephew Peter Trinkle and niece Liza Trinkle of New York. In keeping with Teddy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A special thank you to Teddy's Visiting Angels who gave Teddy such wonderful care these past two years. Your love and devotion was and remains so greatly appreciated. Visitation will be held on Sunday May 25th, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main St., with a memorial service to follow at 1:30 pm.
