Jeanette Rose (Smith) Kirkpatrick

Peacefully surrounded by her family on December 3, 2025, at the age of 85. Sadly missed by her loving husband Gordon and devoted mother to her children, John (Aslin), Diane Charbonneau and devoted grandmother to Evan Charbonneau. Beloved sister to Pauline (David) Dean of Devon UK. Also sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Stanley Henry Smith and Marjorie Rose (nee MacDonald).

Jeanette was born in Hillingdon, England and emigrated to Canada in 1974 and attended Sheridan College in Oakville where she obtained her diploma in Planning Technology.

Jeanette worked as a Planning Technician for the Town of Oakville, Ontario Hydro and City of Toronto until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family rambling in the countryside, travelling, watercolour painting, gardening, swimming and was a competitive ping-pong player and enjoyed playing dominoes with Evan.

Friends and family will be received on Friday December 12th, 2025 from 10:00am- 11:00am at Hetherington and Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls, Ontario. A Celebration of Jeanette's life will take place at 11:00am followed by an interment at Fairview Cemetery, Stanley Avenue, Niagara Falls.
