ERWIN, John - Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Wednesday July 24, 2019 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of 31 years to Peggy (nee Barnett), cherished father of David (Heather) and Kristin (David) and loving Grampa of Leah. He will be sadly missed by his sister Pat (Jim) and his nieces and nephews; Shelley (Ange), Kevin (Patty), Scott, Jodi and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by his brother Robert. John was a dedicated lineman, working with Niagara Falls, Stoney Creek and St. Catharines Hydro for 31 years. He was an active participant in many sports over the years and was thrilled at the recent Toronto Raptors championship title. He also loved his many road trips across North America, and the many people he has met along the way. Cremation has taken place, and he will be reunited with his parents and brother at Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery. A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday August 24, 2019 at his home from 2 to 4 pm. Arrangements entrusted to PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls.
